'Winter Solstice' is an image from Christmas day. I had a lovely afternoon walk in Sussex, culminating in a stunning sunset reflected in a lake. The photo I took showed amazing sunbeams which captured my imagination – and this is the result. A lot is down to invention as ever, but I think it evokes the beauty of the winter solstice.
