Cressida's lamps and shades are produced in small limited editions. The lampshades are printed onto PVC backed card and then each is individually hand coloured with dyes to allow the light to shine through. The bases are of turned wood hand painted with emulsion and varnished. No two are exactly the same and new designs are always being produced.
You can now buy from a small range of lamps and shades in the online shop.
Bespoke designs and one-off commissions can also be undertaken in most sizes and shapes.
If you would be interested in learning to paint your own lampshades there will be a course at Cressida's studio in September.
